Windows 11 Constantly Crashing

Has anyone figured out a way to get the Windows 11 OS to stop crashing? My computer is near non-functional as I can't even use it for more than 10 minutes.

And honestly anyone looking into downloading Windows 11 should NOT download.

Over the past week or so that I've had Windows 11 my computer has crashed at least twice a day and today it's crashed 5 times right after start up.

Please help!

    Windows 11 Pro worked on my new laptop for about 4 days. Today it was blue screen of death at startup over and over and over again.

    I used Windows Startup troubleshooter to revert back to the previous Windows update. That removed W11 and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro. I think I'll stick with 10 for now. 11 is clearly not ready yet.

    11th gen i7-11800K

    RTX 3070

    32GB DDR4

    Samsung 1TB M.2 NVME

    17" 1440 @165Hz

    My Hp AIO desktop was crashing everyday. With windows 10 and windows 11. It turned out to be Logitech keyboard and mouse software.

    I uninstalled Logitech software and been crash free after that. Keyboard and mouse work fine.

    I've just bought a new surface 8 and its having so many issues on windows 11 and overheating that I've gone back to using my pro 6 because its more reliable (even the I have to keep it plugged in because battery is shot)
    I'll be in middle of something and suddenly blue screen with differing crash messages. *sigh*

    Sad part is that I've purchased new notebook, installed Windows 11 and have right now exactly the same issue. I've already called to Dell and talked for over 40 mins. Result: they recommend to downgrade to Windows 10 as they don't know why Windows 11 is constantly crashing. They have automatic diagnostic tool which execute for more less 10 minutes BUT! I've tried it 15-20 times and each time Windows 11 crashed (Black Screen of Death, but with latest update from today now I got Blue Screen of Death with same message), so Dell couldn't get report about my Laptop issues. Laptop test executed from BIOS confirmed that hardware works fine, so it is Windows 11 issue.

    I've experienced so many issues with Windows 11 that I would recommend to remove it and forget about this 'high performance Operating System' which is actually performing so bad that 8-core Intel CPU had 1-2 frames in MS Teams while sharing screen (CPU idling, 70% free RAM). Additionally after stoping screen sharing even independent web browser was not responsive (hard to resize window/type anything). After 'urgent' fixes were installed based on DELL Command Update recommendation performance slightly improved but! Laptop crashes every 10 minutes (or faster).

    In other words: Microsoft published Windows 11 prototype and users are free testers who paid for product which is not even stable. Even stupid PrintScreen is not working for Remote Desktop -> pasting content ends up with hanging MS Paint or MS Teams (pasting screen = hanging destination application).

    It is a poor joke that Microsoft company with 30+ years of experience and INFINITE budget is developing such **** Windows 11 that it is not working at all even on newly purchased expensive laptop.

    My recommendation: don't install Windows 11 as Microsoft Sales team lie every time when they talk about performance improvements. Windows 11 is a piece of .... and honestly I would fire all employees involved in development of Windows 11, including managers. Reason: they don't know what they do.

    /edit:
    I was also waiting for Visual Studio 2022 Professional to purchase it, but... I've changed my mind. I won't purchase anything more form Microsoft.

    -Hi, my name is Claudeir, I'm happy to help you!

    What are your PC's specs?

    Does it support Windows 11?

    Let's check if any third-party software is influenced:

    -Clean startup:

    Clean boot is for you to determine if a background program is interfering with your system or to optimize your system load.

    For clean boot follow the steps below:

    On the Desktop, press the Windows + R keys simultaneously to open Run;

    In the Run Menu type msconfig command and click OK to open System Configuration;

    On the Services tab, check Hide All Microsoft Services and Click Disable All;

    Click Apply and OK;

    Restart the computer.

    NOTE:This procedure disables all third-party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, selectively, instead of keeping them all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

    Check system files:

    -Right click on start, run PowerShell(admin) or Command Prompt(admin)

    Copy and paste the following command:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    and press Enter.(Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete).

    After you see a message saying "The operation completed successfully", copy and paste this command:

    sfc /scannow

    and press Enter.

    Wait for a message that says "Verification 100% complete".

    So add this command:

    chkdsk /f /r /b

    Confirm with "Y" and restart the computer for this last step.

    -Verification with Windows Defender:

    Uninstall any third-party anti-malware, many antiviruses have their own removal tool. Visit the Installed Software website for more information. Your system will not be unprotected as Windows has its own security system that automatically enables as soon as you restart your computer.

    leave just Windows Defender, then Windows+i, update & security, Windows security, open Windows security, virus and threat protection, scan options, tick and run a full scan, then tick and run an offline scan.

    -Access the manufacturer's website to keep updated drivers, BIOS, Chipset, network, etc;

    -If you are having a lot of problems and it is really hard to follow the steps because you have a lot of problems with the system, then go to Settings> System> Recovery and you can go back to Windows 10 until things get better so you don't run out use your PC.

    -Feel free to leave your opinion, marking as answered if the answer helped, or leaving more details so that we can continue the service, this is very important to us.

    Graciously,

    Claudeir
