Add Mobile phone to a Microsoft Teams user

Question

I have a personal phone number and want to link it to MicrosoftTeams. You can make calls with other numbers and also use to call other MS Teams users.

Basically working similar to Whatsapp For Businness, where there is already a number and I can register in another application.

is it possible to accomplish this in Teams? How do I register phone numbers?

You could contact you IT Admin to add your mobile phone number in Azure Active Directory admin center > Users > choose your account – profile > update your office number in Contact info. For more details, please refer to this article.

Besides, Teams doesn’t support to register phone number. Each account should be created by IT admin. If I misunderstand you, please give us more information to know your scenario.
