Problem with IDM!

Hi my name is Ahmed Malick,

When I disable IDM from startup, It don't download any file anymore. When I open it manually, then it downloads file. I don't want to Launch IDM at startup. Is there any way to download files automatically without starting manually or launching at startup. Please help me here.

When you disable a software from Startup, it means this software will not run automatically until you open it manually and once IDM is installed it does not let any other software to download files until you open it.

Therefore, if you do not want to download files with IDM all the time, you can press ALT and then click on the download link.

Or, open IDM once you turn on your computer

Or, you can just uninstall IDM and let the browser to download your files.

But in trial period. It also download without opening manually or launching at startup. Trial has expired, purchased and registered and then this happening.

You need to ask IDM support as they know better about their product. Also, I don't believe downloading is possible without it running in the background.

May I ask why you like this download manager? We have never really promoted them because they can interfere and conflict. But it must be good if you bought it after trial. Is it because it lets you resume downloads reliably - something Windows has only tried to do? I'm curious.
