device manager lagging, not responding

Question

Hi everyone

i have problem with device manager i'm using Windows pro 10 64bit 21H1 Os build 19043.1348

i'm using device manager every day in work laptop to check ports because im work Software Mobile so i must check port every time connect phone. some times can't see port because phone disconnect faster than device manager shown that like MTK devices

please help me to make device manger more speed without lagging or freeze

my laptop working fine every thing is OK fast no problem with anything else, i'm using SSD HD for windows.

Thanks for the reply. If it works initially, after 2 to 3 months a lot of apps might have been already installed in your computer and some of them might be running in the background having a share of the computer's resources. Try a clean boot and check if there is a difference. Here's how:

if i setup fresh windows. device manager will be work fast but after 2-3 months will lagging and freezing again!!

2. Type msinfo and press Enter

I don't think there's anything to do here. You can't make an application function differently unless you specifically code it. It doesn't really offer anything for this.

It would probably be better to look into a better performing laptop, better USB ports, better USB cable, Windows power settings set to performance, etc.

I don't know if there's some sort of other application that could do this but probably not.
