Hello, whenever I open MS Edge- the screen flickers and goes black, why does this happens? And How can I solve it? And it mainly happens while doing any movement like typing, moving the cursor. (But the screen flickers continuously and when I switch apps and go back to MS Edge- the screen turns black. )

Hello there, it says that edge is alredy up to date but the screen is not flickering from yesterday though. Well, is it fine if I let you know the problem is solved after some days?

-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.
-Go to Settings
-Click About Microsoft Edge.
-Wait for few seconds while the Edge is checking updates and installing them'
Restart once done and check .
If issue persists, go to your manufacturers website, search for your device model, and download and install the latest Display driver.

Hello there, I did reset the browser but nothing happened- and as you said, to reinstall(Delete and Install again) Edge, it would clear the site cookies and I don't want that to happen. Can anything be done?
And I wanted to ask that- can we change the default search engine which Windows Start Button use? Like currently its using MS Edge only.

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.
Here's the steps you can try.
Reset the Edge
-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.
-Go to Settings
-Look for Reset Settings
-Click Restore settings to their default values.
(This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)
Restart and check the Edge.
If issue persists, re-install the Edge using this link below.

Download and install the version (94.0.992.38)
Once downloaded and installed, restart your computer and check.
If issue persists, go to your manufacturers website, search for your device model, and download and install the latest Display driver.
