Get Started

It is possible to remove Get Started from the start menu App list.

It is really boring to continue to see it.

    Good Day FilippoZanetti,

    My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you.Let us work together to sort this out.

    -Click Start , type Powershell and run as administrator

    -Copy and paste the command below in the powershell window and hit Enter.

    Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.Getstarted* | Remove-AppxPackage

    Once you entered that command restart and check the app.

    I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, please proceed with these steps.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Click Windows Powershell

    -Copy and paste the commmand below and hit Enter.

    Get-appxpackage -allusers *Microsoft.Getstarted* | Remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    Restart once done and check.

    Nothing to do, Get started is still there. Even with the new line.

    Can you please search for the Get Started app, and right click on the results and check if you have an option to uninstall or remove it form the start menu it, if none you can submit a feedback to notify the developers and have them check.

    Here's how to submit a feedback using the Feedback Hub

    -Press Windows key + F to open the feedback hub

    -Enter the details of your feedback and hit Submit once done.
