WSL2 not working

Upgraded to Windows 11 today and decided to install WSL2, already have WSL1 and Ubuntu installed so I entered the commands "WSL --update" and (after reboot) "WSL --set-version Ubuntu-20.04 2" to upgrade to WSL2, but the latter command throws error: Please enable the Virtual Machine Platform Windows feature and ensure virtualization is enabled in the BIOS.

Virtual Machine Platform and CPU virtualization is already enabled.

How to fix this?

WSL is not supported by Q&A. It seems like WSL's github page is the only place to get some answers about it as of now, I don't like the formal format of github queries, but I guess that's the only way.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing issues in using WSL 2 on your computer.

However, we do have a dedicated forum for issues/queries related to Windows Subsystem for Linux let me point you in the right direction. I would suggest you to post your query in Windows on Q&A, where we have support professionals to address your query.

    Regards,
