Windows 11 CMD error: [process exited with code 1]
I am dealing with an extremely frustrating error with the command prompt in Windows 11. Whenever I try to open cmd.exe or run a .bat file, the screen will flicker, but neither cmd.exe nor the .bat file will open and run.
When I access the command prompt from within Windows Terminal, I get the following error: [process exited with code 1].
Here is a screenshot of my command prompt from within Windows Terminal:
I have already tried running sfc /scannow in Powershell, since I cannot run command prompt, but the system does not find any issues. Similarly, I tried to restore using DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth but it does not find any issues.
This is extremely frustrating. Any help is greatly appreciated.

2021-12-27T00:11:19+00:00 I have this same issue. When I create a new account. I can use the command prompt from that user. However, this is only a work around. Has anyone found a solution?
