Multiple faulting application path errors

hello, I have had multiple games give me a faulting application path error that results in an app crash that sends me straight to my homescreen. I have done 2 full system resets one with and one without saving my information for the future. I have deleted Norton in favor of the basic windows defender, and I have run SFC 3 times to no avail. This problem does not occur with more demanding games such as Total War: Warhammer II or borderlands 2 but instead occurs with smaller games such as Darkest Dungeon II and Inscryption among a myriad of others. This happens with both Steam and Epic Games Store products as well.

here is one of the crash reports:

Inscryption.exe

Hi TO. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

    1. Did you run Norton Removal tool to get it all out and check System files which Norton is known to break ? If not do that now:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/...

    1. Run System File Checker and DISM from Step 10 in this checklist:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki... which explains how to run it to completion.

    1. If any files cannot be fixed or the problems remain, run a Repair Install which reinstalls WIndows while keeping your files, programs and most settings in place, by installing the Media Creation Tool from this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m..., open the tool and choose Upgrade This PC Now. This will solve most problems and also bring it up to the latest version which you need anyway and by the most stable method.
    2. If the games issues remain then Update your drivers and BIOS/UEFI firmware from PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start button. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.

Updating drivers from the Device Manager or Windows Update is rarely enough. The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain a PC is keep the latest manufacturer's drivers installed from their Support Downloads web page.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Please report back results for all steps given so I know what else to suggest if necessary.
