I understand that you’re facing issues when switching between windows on your PC. I will certainly try my best to assist you with the issue.
Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and see if that helps.
Method 1: Restart Explorer
Try restarting Explorer and see if that helps.
- Right click on Taskbar and click on Task Manager. This should open Task Manger console.
- Click on Details tab, look for explorer.exe.
- Right click on explorer.exe and click on End Task.
- The desktop will go blank and you should still have Task Manager on the screen.
- Click on File>>Run new task.
- Type explorer.exe and click on OK.
- This will restart the Windows Explorer.
Method 2: Troubleshoot Windows Explorer
Try running the troubleshooter for Windows Explorer and see if that helps. Refer the article Automatically diagnose and repair Windows file and folder problems
Method 3: Create a new user account
Test the issue on new user account and see if you’re able to switch between windows normally. Refer the article Create a local user or administrator account
Note: The above articles hold good for Windows 11 as well.
