No Bluetooth option

Good Afternoon

I have a laptop which is a Dell studio XPS which runs windows 10. Here is the laptop specification

Device name DESKTOP-2EI0SVV

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz

Installed RAM 4.00 GB (3.75 GB usable)

Device ID 2557FF6E-4482-4C68-957E-7E99E3DEC830

Product ID 00326-30000-00001-AA027

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

There is no option for me to turn on Bluetooth. I went into the control panel by clicking windows key and R and there is no option on Bluetooth over there. Can anyone plz help me on how i can get Bluetooth running on my laptop. Thank you

    Hello AmaanKhan787890,

    Thank you for updating me with that information. It looks like you're using a 10+ year old laptop and the Bluetooth functionality doesn't seem to work on Windows 10 due to a very old driver.

    I recommend buying a Bluetooth USB adapter online or at a nearby PC Store then check if it helps. This is the simplest and cheapest way to achieve Bluetooth capability for your device.

    1. When was the last time it worked properly?
    2. What is the exact model of your device?

    Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: msinfo32

    Press Enter to open System Information

    Find System Model or please take a screenshot of the System Information window and post it in your next response. Note: Don't include any personal information or sensitive data.
