Shared Printer Nightmare

Hello,

I thought I would ask the million small business question, does Microsoft have a way to fix shared printers or plan on fixing them? This is a VERY big deal to some of us. The update has been VERY destructive.

Cheers

Eric

    Good Day EricFitzsimmons1,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

Can you please tell me more the issue that you are experiencing with the Shared Printer.

Microsoft already released KB5007253 update last 2021-11-22 to fix this issue with the shared printer.

    Please see this link below.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/releas...

If you are still having issues with the shared printer, you can check for updates and install any updates available, restart once done and check the printer.

If issue persists, let me know the version of Windows installed in your computer.

    -Press Windows key + R

    -Type winver and hit Enter

It will show you the Windows and build version and post it here.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
