Does the printer you are wanting to use show up in the Control Panel. See image of mine below.
Is the printer set as your Default printer? Do you have it set up to be shared on your network?

2021-11-09T21:20:14+00:00 Brother MFC J4620 DW It is connected to my router and also set up for WIFI. I have the old computer sitting next to the new one and it still prints ok. Printer is 6 years old. I have the disk in the dvd slot but cant get it to execute. Also no printer shows up in device ,manager but when I have it search for a printer, it finds it but when I try to add it , it tells me it isn't activated. Error code 30.
