Many Issues From Latest Windows 11 Updates

Hi,

Hoping someone can help. My issues began with one of the more recent Microsoft updates- the one that is associated with Nvidia graphics cards having issues. I had to reinstall Windows 11. After reinstalling, Windows Explorer crashed and wouldn’t open again, so I reinstalled again. This time, none of the Microsoft apps would open. The photos app kept giving me an error saying the app wouldn’t start and then another saying something about no such interface supported. The Microsoft Store would not open and none of my updates were downloading. After reinstalling again with no success, I came onto one of these forums and got instruction to install Windows 11 from ISO. So, I tried that and now the Microsoft Store opens, but the photos app still won’t open and none of the Windows updates will download/install. I’ve tried everything I’ve read. The updates are stuck at 0% currently after reinstalling Windows 11 yet again. Photos app is stuck at 1% and can’t update. Troubleshooter says it fixes update, but it actually doesn’t. I’m just not really sure what to do at this point- I’m at a complete loss.

    What update?

By default, win 11 does not auto update Optional updates which includes Drivers.

You update drivers only from the PC Maker

Could it be that you updated to 22H2?

Yes, I believe it updated to 22H2, and then I started having issues with performance. It kept crashing. Now, after reinstalling, Windows Update won’t work, and I cant open any photos because the photos app also can’t update.
