Hi, I just want to tell you that I think I found the solution for you and for me, I tried an unofficial repack of the Microsoft Redistributable Visual and it works! Finally!

If you are interested, here is the link of the unofficial repack I used:

Download Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes AIO Repack - MajorGeeks

    Good luck!

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Could you try to right click the application and select to 'Run as Administrator'. and see if this resolves the issue?

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

Hello, I also have the same problem, but the difference is with Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.

I tried to do all the tweaks (Registry, Troubleshooter, Services, Disable antivirus, restart, etc.), but no results.

If you are in the 22H2 version of Windows 11, then I think it's a bug, because when the first version of Windows 11 came out, it did the same thing if I remember well.

    Otherwise, it's something else.

Hopefully someone will help us and/or Microsoft will patch this.

    Hi Raghav,

Error 0x80070005 denotes 'Access is Denied'.

Please query the permission/ACL entries for the InstallTemp folder using the following command:

    From Admin Command Prompt, run:

    • icacls C:\Windows\winsxs\InstallTemp\

Copy the output and include it in your reply.

Also, make sure that the “Windows Modules Installer” service is started.
