Why does the default audio device keep changing when I plug my monitor in after I already set the default audio device?

Besides windows jumping around chaotically when monitors are unplugged (need third party software and this goes away, eat dirt Microsoft...) when I dock my laptop my samsung monitor is always set as the default audio device. It is on displayport and doesnt even have speakers, seriously fix this garbage, its 1 line of code. I don't want a level 1 tech response, you're lucky I'm even reaching out.

    Well this is a user group, not MS

    I don't need any third-party software to use multimonitor

    If using third-party software that probably explains the sound issue
