Is there away to move the volume indicator from the bottom back to the top left?

    Hi Aymeric,

Whether this is an improvement is up for debate. The positioning at the bottom puts it in a more cluttered position relative to other things that are typically on the screen. Upper left worked better for me, and being able to move it around to suit your preferences would actually be an improvement. The new location is not great. Not being able to relocate it is the real problem.

"Improvement" I think we all know it's now so much worse. I can't use the controls on Spotify anymore. I actually cannot interact with the pause button on Spotify at all when the volume is shown. Please fix this.

It is not an "upgrade" in any way, shape, or form.

    This is unacceptable.

People who aren't native speakers of English or the language of any media they watch use subtitles (the US is not the centre or the world nor is the English language). This completely blocks subtitles from view.

In small laptops, the hand pressing the keyboard volume keys obscures the brightness and volume slider completely.

Finally, people experiencing disability and hearing impairments also need captions and subtitles, this slider is located precisely at the most frustrating spot on the screen obscuring the subtitles.

Not an improvement! Not only is the new location less desirable for me, but the new appearance is much less readable - the line is much thinner and no longer has a white square at the point between the two colors, which makes it much harder to see at a glance what the volume is.

Hello ! I'm Aymeric, and I'm here to help.

Unfortunately, at the moment, you cannot move back the new volume indicator from the bottom to the top left of your screen. This improvement is part of the new Windows 11 feature update.

    Sorry for the inconvenience...

Feel free to aks if you have any other question !
