Apologies for a tardy response. I posted this to Portus with 3 screen shots and they offered a self help solution. Same problem. So PC returned and, accepting it was a rogue and bought 'out of the box' a favourable deal on a new PC, better model was arranged. This has proved to be excellent. Thank you for the 'leverage'
New PC Initial Login
My new PC, arrived 4 Oct 22, is pre-set-up with Windows 10, It loads when switched on. It then shows a 'TEST' user and requires a password. And then there are 3 security questions - where did they come from? I have tried most online suggestions but as I cannot access anything - I have a useless PC. Safe mode and start-up just demands the / a password for this TEST account rather than allowing input to a blank CMD box. Windows key plus various X or I - nothing
Is there any way to get logged on/bypass this, so called, test account.
There is no option / ability to use my MS password.
Grateful for any help!

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
That Test use account is an account whoever put the PC together has set on the PC to test all was working correctly and they forgot to remove.
Contact the seller or PC manufacturer and ask them for the password to log into that account, it is their responsibility to provide you with a PC that starts with the OOBE (out of box experience) where you create your own account initially along with all you settings preferences.
Then if you can get into that account, create a new user account and Delete that Test account.
If they cannot provide you with the password to log into the Test account, you will need to create a bootable Windows 10 USB on another working PC, then boot the PC from that and clean install Windows 10.
