Hello everyone. From time to time my pc totally randomly restarts without any reason and without any blue screen.

And its always the kernel power 41 (63) error.

Sometimes when I use the PC and sometimes even while doing absolutely nothing, just with a google chrome tap open and seeing from the corner of my eye that my pc just restarts itself.

I already upgraded my GPU driver and uninstalled it several times. Other drives should be up to date as well. I dont have any anti virus sofware except Windows Defender. I did a clean install of windows a month ago but it didnt help.

This is the code I got. " System was unexpectedly restarted. This error might happen if the system didnt react/shut down or if the power was cut off"

And this is from the details of today

BugcheckCode">209 BugcheckParameter1">0xfffff8076ef71948"BugcheckParameter2">0x2"BugcheckParameter3">0x8<"BugcheckParameter4">0xfffff8076ef71948"SleepInProgress">0"PowerButtonTimestamp">0"BootAppStatus">0"Checkpoint">0<ConnectedStandbyInProgress">false<"SystemSleepTransitionsToOn">0<"CsEntryScenarioInstanceId">0<"BugcheckInfoFromEFI">false<"CheckpointStatus">0<CsEntryScenarioInstanceIdV2">0<"LongPowerButtonPressDetected">false<

And this from some time ago

<Data Name="BugcheckCode">160</Data> <Data Name="BugcheckParameter1">0xf0</Data><Data Name="BugcheckParameter2">0x4</Data><Data Name="BugcheckParameter3">0xe</Data><Data Name="BugcheckParameter4">0xffff880f79c54040</Data><Data Name="SleepInProgress">4</Data><Data Name="PowerButtonTimestamp">0</Data><Data Name="BootAppStatus">3221225473</Data><Data Name="Checkpoint">0</Data><Data Name="ConnectedStandbyInProgress">false</Data><Data Name="SystemSleepTransitionsToOn">1</Data><Data Name="CsEntryScenarioInstanceId">0</Data><Data Name="BugcheckInfoFromEFI">false</Data><Data Name="CheckpointStatus">0</Data><Data Name="CsEntryScenarioInstanceIdV2">0</Data><Data Name="LongPowerButtonPressDetected">false</Data>

I would really appreciate any help. I dont know what else to do, my pc runs on a clean software with very with programs and a good hardware. The only thing that comes to my mind is upgrading my Power Supply. But my pc still reboots while using like 100 watt out of the total 550 W my power supply offers.

Thanks guys!

    Hi,

My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.

Kernel-Power 41 (63) error mostly means the problem with power supplying. Can you replace power supply unit for checking? It may mean problems with power management in BIOS or motherboard too.

And you may try to turn off all CPU power saving modes in BIOS (different C states) to check if the problem is in motherboard.

    See some details at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client...
