My Bluetooth went missing after system restore. Restore date was 2 days and I edit some registry resulting system malfunction and now I dont have option to turn on Bluetooth anymore. It is missing in my system. I run SFC and DISM maybe it does help but now. I restart multiple times and still dont have options to turn on Bluetooth.

    Hi ward_miller50,

I'm Nivas, Sorry for inconvenience, please try the following solutions:

    2. Uninstall Device driver from Device Manager and restart:
    1. Select Search on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Managerfrom the results.
    2. In Device Manager, select Bluetooth. Press and hold (or right-click) the Bluetooth adapter name (which may include the word “radio”), and select Uninstall deviceUninstall.
    3. Select Start, then select Power > Shut down.
    4. After your device shuts down, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Windows will try to reinstall the driver.
    5. If Windows doesn't reinstall the driver automatically, open Device Manager and select ActionScan for hardware changes.
    1. If you still have issue, you may need to contact your PC or other hardware manufacturer to get the latest drivers for your Bluetooth adapter and install the driver.

    Hi ward_miller50-

I'm Kevin B. Windows user like you. I do apologize for the inconvenience, let me help you sort things out.

Kindly check first if the Bluetooth is showing on the device manager.

    Open device manager.

    Look for Bluetooth Adapter

If there is no option for Bluetooth Click View - show hidden devices

Check if the Bluetooth will show up.

If so, expand it and look for the driver.

Right click on it then uninstall.

Restart the computer and check if you can enable Bluetooth again.

Please let me know what will happen. Hope this will help and have a blessed day!

    Thanks,

    Kevin B.
