Can't create azure CDN Endpoint "We couldn't create your CDN endpoint"

Question

Hi,

I am following this guide to add HTTPS to my static website hosted on Azure in a Storage Account : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/static-website-content-delivery-network
When I am trying to create a CDN Endpoint, I am getting a generic error message : "We couldn't create your CDN Endpoint", and I have no way to know what I did wrong.

I have an Azure for Student Subscription and my location is "France Central".

It is not possible to create a CDN endpoint using a Student Account unfortunately. However, you can use a trial account to do the same. Hope this helps.

I understand that you are receiving the error- "We couldn't create your CDN endpoint" when trying to create the CDN endpoint from the Storage Account.

Can you please try creating it directly from the CDN portal? As that gives a more detailed error log regarding what the issue could be. In the past I have seen that when Microsoft.CDN resource provider is not registered, you see a similar issue. Here is an article that explains how to register resource provider. if you see a similar error. Hope this helps.

So I tried to create a CDN endpoint through CDN Profiles and here is the error : https://photos.app.goo.gl/x2QjFp55LzmMgkrG9

It says that I cannot create a CDN Endpoint using a student account.

So is there no other way? I can't let my website using only http and I wanted to use my free credits...
