My pc has a cracked touch screen, so it is extremely difficult to sign in and get to the device manager ro turn off the touch screen. We managed this. I'm on Windows 10 21H1. It now has downloaded 22H2. Will this alter the touch screen setting in the Device Manager?

    Sorry, I found that option under Privacy. I'll try installing 22H2 when I've got the possibilities in place for getting to the Device Manager in case it doesn't work. Thanks again.

    Thanks.

    I don't have the "Use my sign-in info to finish setting up my device after an update or restart"; option. Does that matter?

    Hello R, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    Interesting your question about the settings after an update;

    Before upgrading, do the following;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Accounts;

    Click Input Options;

    Scroll down the page to the Restart Applications section;

    Enable the options "Automatically save my restartable apps when I sign out and restart them after I sign in" and "Use my sign-in info to finish setting up my device after an update or restart";

    Now your settings shouldn't be reset after the upgrade;

    Hope this helps, see you soon!
