Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version Install error - 0x80070002

Question

I was trying to update the 2022-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5019980) yesterday, but it is showing me an error Install error - 0x80070002.

I googled and tried a few methods to fix the error, not thing helped.

I tried all the fixes from this link.

Thanks for the reply, I already tried that too but didn't work.

I had to clean and install the windows again.

Hi M&M-A,

A manifest file is missing from the downloaded CAB, which caused the error 80070002 (ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)

Download the full KB5019980 MSU installer package from here: https://catalog.s.download.windowsupdate.com/c/msdownload/update/software/secu/2022/11/windows11.0-kb5019980-x64_8c5c341ffaa52f1e832bbd2a9acc5072c52b89fe.msu

Run the MSU file to install the Cumulative Update.

If an error occurs, please post the fresh CBS.log.
