virus

Question

trying to find out if i have a virus. Within the last ten days i had a warning sign take up full screen and flashing light and siren. Saying my computer has been hacked. all this is new to me and don't really understand where to start to find out what happened

If it is a pop-up window comes up when you open browsers, it would be a scam never click on it and never call any phone number that appears on it. Is it possible to take a screenshot of it and post it back?

Meanwhile, try the following steps to protect your computer:

1-Check for updates:
