Hi there, my laptop has been away getting repaired and they have obviously set up some kind of account which they don't need to login to to allow them access for the repair. Now it comes up as the account on my lockscreen rather than my own account and doesn't have a password to protect it. My name is still on the account once logged in but I want to fix the Lockscreen so my name isn't Asus and I can reinstate password login. How can I do this?

    Hello Helen,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

Make sure you are logged in to your own account.

Then click on the search bar and type in netplwiz

Press enter and a popup window will appear listing the accounts.

Click on the one you wish to remove then click on remove button under the selection box.

Confirm the choice and the account will be removed.

Restart your machine and your account should show up directly.
