Sorting (out) Microsoft Store

Hi. I was looking to add some functions to Windows using apps from your Microsoft Store. It took me about 40 seconds to give up, since there doesn't seem to be any option to sort anything. This makes it a mishmash of treasure&trash that I'm most certainly not willing to sift through. I find myself writing this due to the craving, desperate urge to learn the arguments that persuaded you to not include this very basic, standard functionality.

A quick internet-search showed me this has been asked a plethora of times, with vague responses and not-quite promises. A further search in this community showed me that you also chose not to implement a sorting option here - immediately removing any desire to avoid possibly creating a duplicate of something already answered. Although consistency is nice, it still lacks any form of logic.

Are you planning to implement a sorting option anytime soon? Otherwise I'm going to opt out of having it on my system entirely.

The whereabouts of the menu wasn't quite my question. I'm inquiring about a very-much-expected-yet-not-presently-available option to sort anything by anything. Unless that's what you meant by add-ins/functions, and you consider sorting a special, added feature. In which case I'll start wondering if I'm from the future - where 'Sort by...' is generally included the second there's more than 2 of something.

When you open the Store the menu is to the left of the window with 3 basic choices

There are no add-ins/functions only apps
