USB Device Error Code 39

I have a USB device which is not installing the driver correctly. It displays with the yellow exclamation point as shown below.

According to the manufacturer's document, I can navigate to the driver and manually install. When I do that I get the following:

I know the driver I am trying to install works on Windows 10 because I am copying the driver directly from another PC that is able to connect to the device.

Some research has revealed that using regedit to delete High and Low Filters can alleviate the error. But the High and Low Filters do not appear in regedit.

What else can I try?

Thank you!

Not sure how to mark my own reply as the solution, so also posting it here:

The below fixed customers issue new PC USB driver error code 39.

If Windows shows the following error ”Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) {Bad Image} %hs is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x “

I was not sure how to actually change the value, but you need to click on the Dword portion to actually change it.
Open the registry editor by typing in regedit on your Windows 10 search bar and change the Enabled value of *HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard*
Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity is set to 0.

Restart your PC after you do this and that should hopefully take care of it.

    Hello there, this is Emily.

Is this for the Red Lion? If so, download Crimson from them and then try manually find the driver again to install. Don't just copy paste it from another PC.

RedLion Tech support came through with this:

    Solved!

Ok good. I am glad you found the support article from Red Lion. I was going to share that but wanted to make sure it was indeed a red lion device you were trying to install. Glad it is all good!
