ACPI Error Windows 11

Hey, I’ve had my PC for just over two years, with Windows 11 installed for about half a year, and in the last couple of months my core memory isolation has been turned off and won’t switch back on. If I do switch it on and restart my computer, I receive the blue screen error message: “System Thread Exception Not Handled. What failed: ACPI.sys.” I’ve looked up various fixes for this issue and none seem to be working for me: none of my drivers appear to be out of date or incompatible and sfc scans haven’t detected any corrupted files. So I reset my computer (keeping files but removing apps) and finally the memory isolation stayed on, so I installed Google Chrome and AVG, kept restore points after both and paused updates, and for two days it was working fine again until it turned off again. I’m also not able to troubleshoot as it won’t let me send optional diagnostic data because my “organisation prevents me from sending optional data to Microsoft.” I’m at a loss of what to do, so I’d really appreciate any suggestions - if I need to replace some of the hardware that’s fine, I just have no clue what the problem could be as it doesn’t seem to be directly related to any updates or installations, and I haven’t detected any corrupt or broken system files or incompatible drivers.

    Hello MimVS,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

May I know of your computer has joined any domain? Since a domain-joined computer will accept settings and programs from your organization (like a company or a school), and these deployed things could be the cause.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
