Taskbar issue - never combine

Is Microsoft planning to restore the "never combine" feature on the taskbar? I had to remove Win 11 and go back to 10 because not having this feature is so inconvenient.

Since the latest KB5021866 update, ExplorerPatcher is not anymore compatible.

Worse: it breaks Windows expected behavior.

There is no more taskbar and the process "explorer.exe" becomes buggy.

This is exactly why I do not want to edit the registry or use a third-party add-on program. A Microsoft update could disable the "fix" or, as PhunkyBob says, cause even bigger problems. Does anyone know when Microsoft will restore this "never combine" capability natively within Win 11? I would like to update to 11, but if my different Outlook windows (email, contacts, calendar, tasks) are all lumped together as one icon on the taskbar, the inefficiency of constant switching back-and-forth is a dealbreaker for me.

Hi Timothy, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

This has been one of the most requested features but sadly, it did not make it to the latest feature update 22H2. Here's the thread on this

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-...

However, the workaround for this by many users is to restore the classic Taskbar in Windows 11 using ExplorerPatcher.
