Windows 11 22H2 update issues :

  1. I have Elan touchpad driver preinstalled in my HP Laptop. Touchpad scrolling sensitivity is very inconsistent in every app. Somewhere its very high somewhere it is very low.
  2. I am facing scrolling lags in Settings, Widgets, Microsoft Store, etc at balanced settings. Whereas It feels slightly better in some apps when I set it to "Best Performance".
  3. UI glitches which can only be reproduced after hovering on "new desktop" button. This is how it can be reproduced For Eg. When I am using Browser, Suddenly I need to use calculator, I press win+R, and type calc. Then I close it and It doesn't not jump to previous window which was already opened before. It was not ocurring in windows 10.
  4. Lock Screen got visual Bug. When you hover the cursor to top right corner Button i.e. "Like the image you see?", It will show ugly transparent outline extended towards bottom. (Picture Attached)

  1. New Task Manager app has some flaws. There are too small icons of some apps as shown in picture below. (Picture Attached)

I would try uninstalling the update or rolling it back.

If not possible then please try-

Right click on start & choose powershell with admin & type/copy & paste these cmds one at a time then click Enter:

    SFC /SCANNOW

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Thanks for the response.

I installed it 2 weeks ago. Yes I already have tried restarting and also reported these issues in feedback hub but I didn't try rolling back.

Hello, I’m Virginia, I have 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems.

How long ago did you upgrade to 22H2? Have you tried uninstalling/rolling back the update?

    Have you restarted the PC?
