Razer issues with xbox controller

I've attempted to search far and wide, but still haven't been able to solve this issue. When my xbox controller is plugged into my computer (hard wired) my Razer microphone doesn't work as if it detects the xbox controller as the default mic. Ive set the Razer soundcard as default, disabled practically everything else, uninstalled/reinstalled all drivers for controller and headset, but with no luck. I can either use my xbox controller with no microphone, or I can use my microphone and the xbox controller fails tos start

Hi AD. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

Try these fixes for Razer Microphone not working, including conflicting with Xbox controller:

If nothing else helps contact Razer Support who must get it working or replace it during the first year warranty period:

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
