WiFi Driver Gone Missing After Gaming / Using GPU

Hi, please help. I'm currently using Asus TUF A15 FX506IH laptop. My WiFi driver is Realtek 8822CE WLAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC.

• Asus TUF A15 FX506IH
• Windows 11 (always updated) - Recently updated to 22H2 update, issue still exists
• Realtek 8822CE WLAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC WiFi

It's been happening for over a week. The wifi driver for my laptop is always gone every time I finished gaming. I suspect it's because of the GPU? I'm not entirely sure because I'm not really into computers and stuff. And it always happens after I finished playing games. The wifi option is gone, and I cannot connect to any network. I first had this issue a few months back, and it's gone and back again over twice now, not sure what fixed it back then but it's back. Really, really annoying.

The wifi first disconnects, and said "Can't Connect to This Network" when I tried to reconnect. All other wifi networks are gone (tried to test using hotspot from phone, didn't work). Restarting the laptop also doesn't work. Only fix is to Shut Down (while holding shift) and turn it back on, thought the problem will occur again after gaming.

However, this problem did not occur if the GPU wasn't in use. I tried browsing and YouTube for hours and the wifi is fine. It only happens after the GPU is used.

I have tried every single method on the internet;

Network Reset, cmd, WLAN service, Installing the latest wifi driver from ASUS, regedit, Power Options (sleep etc), and I even reinstalled my Windows, and the problem still happens.

Please let me know if you have any fixes to this issue ASAP. It's really annoying to shut down and turn my laptop back on every time I finished playing a game. Thank you.

This is the latest Windows version for me. I reinstalled Windows a few hours ago.

You fail to mention what win11 version/build? did you install 22H2?
