Windows Activation Error

After reinstalling Windows 10 pro on LenovoThinkpad t540p, which had digital win 10 key before reinstallation, I can't activate windows anymore. I'm always getting error that windows can't find key on this pc.

After checking BIOS I found this:

Win 10 preinstalled OS license - NOK

OA3 license key ID - NO DPK

Is win 10 key deleted from BIOS, or what... This is first time I'm having issue like this with digital (BIOS) licenses, after many reainstallations that went perfectly fine

    Hi Qanit

If that Pc has an OEM licence, that can not be removed, it is stored on a chip on the motherboard, you will need to contact the seller or Lenovo support of you purchased the laptop directly form them, you may need a BIOS update or they may be able to trace the locence key for you.

    Hi Qanit

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Re-installing the same edition (Home, Pro..etc) of Windows 10 should not affect activation on a Pre-installed OEM licence.

    1

Open the Settings App, then go to System - About, is it Windows Pro or Enterprise that is currently installed, there is a known bug that can result in Enterprise.

    2

Download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store, does that find an OEM licence ley on your laptop and if it does, what edition of Windows 10 is that key for?
