I have enabled OpenSSH server as an optional feature of windows 11, I was wondering if there is a way to get notified in the windows notification center when the client is connected?

Here is what I find on getting notified on SSD connection:

    https://askubuntu.com/questions/602959/how-to-g...

    https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/324736...

If those don't help then I'd ask at one of the IT pro forums and also where they use this much more often at a developers' forum here:

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/...

    https://stackoverflow.com/

    https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/s...

    https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-top-10-websi...

    I hope it helps.

    Hi Greg Carmack.

Thanks for your reply but I am not using a windows server, and it is a feature inside windows 11 that I enabled. Would you still recommend me to ask this question in the server forum you sent earlier?

    Thanks,

    Ata

Hi Ata. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

Please ask server questions at our Sister forums for IT Professionals, Q&A forums here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/answers/index.... ?

Microsoft Community is strictly an end-consumer forum. Solutions we give here may conflict with the organization''s Group Policy which we do not use in consumer forums at all.

There are also equally good (and sometimes busier) 3rd party IT Pro forums here:

    https://www.spiceworks.com/

    I hope it helps.
