No attachments are physically opened unless the user opens them
Presumably you are only using the win Defender security and have not installed a third-party AV
PS You posted to a win7 group???

Good morning,
To whom it may concern.
When I started to use this PC, it was asked that I log in to my Outlook/Hotmail, which is really useful and cool to have direct access to my Mail.
However, for 2 times now, I have received an E-Mail which has malware/spyware. I do not even open Mail that I do not recognize, as a matter of fact I only open mail that I know 100% it's not coming from someone I do not know.
After checking my folders, I found out that some attachments are automatically download without my consent.
I guess my questions are:
Is this a fact?
Is there a way to prevent this?
