Bluetooth has disappeared.

Question

What can I do to get Bluetooth back on my DELL laptop? OS Windows 11. (I've downloaded all DELL updates) Bluetooth has just disappeared. It pops up in device manager if you show hidden items but it doesn't have any option to upgrade or uninstall.

The device has two different types of bluetooth chips :
Try installing these drivers one by one please :

Depending on the device one of this will work.

Thanks for replying. unfortunately it says my system is up to date so there doesn't appear to be anything there

Hello NDGrt,

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled in Windows. Search in Windows Search for Bluetooth and click on the matching settings page. Flick the switch for Bluetooth on.

As you mentioned in a comment below, you have a Dell Inspiron 7386. Dell has a page specifically for that laptop with drivers and updates. Click on this link and search for 'bluetooth' on it: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk/product-support/product/inspiron-13-7386-2-in-1-laptop/drivers There are 3 updates available for WiFi and Bluetooth.
