Undeletable folders

Hi guys,

I have installed Windows 11 and right after that, I set everything to go on another partition so my C: Disk be only for Windows and future updates, nothing else. On my other partition, these 3 folders appeared from nowhere (from my new settings in System/Storage/Where-new-content-is-saved).

How can I delete/hide them? I am a perfectionist and it is stressing me out that there are 3 folders that I don't want. Every time I open this partition to go for a software/game I want to open, I always have to ignore the first 3 rows because.....Windows 11 settings.

Thank you a lot.

Thank you for raising your concern in this community.

Hello, the three folders you mentioned are system folders and cannot be completely deleted after you have added and saved these folders

  1. WindowsApps is the path of programs downloaded from the application store
  2. ProgramFiles is the optional path to save other software installations
  3. Delivery Optimization file is a folder where the Windows "Delivery Optimization Service" is stored

Based on your current needs, you can actually hide it by right-clicking on any of the folders - Properties and setting it to Hidden in the General Options page.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Best Regards,
