Windows 10: Higher RAM usage
Hi. I am using 8GB of RAM. When I got my PC in my hands for the first time, the RAM usage (with required open programs) was at 60% (where the open program would use 2.5GB RAM), while now, with 3GB RAM usage from one program, gets the RAM usage to 90%.
I have many useless apps uninstalled, except some preinstalled apps from Microsoft Windows. I don't think deleting them would free any RAM, at any point. I have some programs in the Startup tab disabled, ended a few programs in Task Manager. That only let the RAM usage be less by a single percent.
The program, which uses the most RAM, is my Kaspersky AntiVirus - 140MB. But, we do not talk about that anti-virus. I need only Windows and its features tweaking, not apps.
In the background, I have: Lightshot (for screenshotting), Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Secure Connection, MSOffice Click-To-Run, and Google Crash Handler, which I also terminated. There are some apps which I think I can end, but is risky a bit, like Runtime Broker, Application Frame Host, Microsoft Text Input Application, and CTF Loader.
But, anyways. Does anyone have any tips on how to tweak Windows for it to use less RAM? If so, please let me know!
Regards,
-Abdulqadir.
