We'd like to use Azure Defender for Storage for antimalware scanning. The storage account is using encryption with customer-managed keys. It seems Security settings are not available on a storage account which uses customer-managed keys for data encryption. Is there a way to use Azure Defender for Storage with storage accounts which use customer-managed encryption keys?

Sorry for late response but we managed to get a response from Azure Support about this.
Short answer is that yes, Azure Defender for Storage does work when customer-managed encryption keys are used in all regions, except Norway East.

Glad you were able to get this answered. Our product team was able to confirm that Azure Defender for Storage is compatible with customer-managed encryption keys.
