Windows 11 BSOP error - computer crashes while using diagnostic tools

Hi,

I have a razer blade 15 advanced 2019 model running Windows 11.

A BSOP error with code "UNEXPECTED STORE EXCEPTION" shows up seemingly when the laptop is stressed (I can duplicate this error when running a benchmark stress test). This error would only show up for less than half a second before going to the BIOS. In the BIOS, it would show that the hard drive is not detected (no NVMe Device Found under NVMe configuration).

I've tried:

  • testing the RAM with memtest (they are OK).
  • testing the hard drive with CrystalDiskInfo (it shows up as 95% healthy, although it shows a warning for 66C temperature)
  • installing latest drivers and updates
  • uninstalling Razer Synapse 3
  • resetting the Windows --> this caused another BSOP
  • running chkdsk /r --> this caused another BSOP

I was halfway through the chkdsk command when I was met with another error "UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME"

At this point, I'm not sure if it's the hard drive, the motherboard, or a software issue.

If you can help, please let me know. Thank you.

Do you have Windows 11 compatible BIOS?

Did you install all drivers from Razer support site?
