Hey Guys, I really hope that this can be fixed for me.
First my Specs:

I got Windows 11

48G Ram
RTX 3060

MSI Tomahawk Motherboard

AMD Ryzen 9 5900 CPU

Now, I am trying to enable Hyper V to use Windows Sandbox. When I try to start Sandbox, it says "Initialisation of Sandbox failed". Nothing more. Now, I googled a bit, and found lots of commands in either PowerShell or CMD to enable HyperV and lots of other things, none, and i mean NONE worked. Putting these Commands into PS gave an Error, and in the cmd an error as well. In the Features Window, HyperV isnt present and now I dont know what to do. I hope theres help here.

Please Guys I dont know what to do, Virtualisation is enabled on my BIOS and my features window has VM enabled as well :I
Please help me

thx

    Hi FireCreeper21,

SVM is enabled in the bios.

Are you running any Hyper-V installs as there is an extra step to make SandBox run on a Hyper-V install.

If you only want SandBox to run on Windows what happens when you run the following command.

To enable Sandbox using PowerShell, open PowerShell as Administrator and run the following command:

    Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -FeatureName "Containers-DisposableClientVM" -All -Online

    Windows Sandbox | Microsoft Learn

Below are the settings which Sandbox works on Windows 11 Pro computer although it's an Insider Beta install

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, as per checking your operating system, you are using Windows 11 right? not a Windows 11 Pro? the Hyper V will only work for the Pro, Enterprise, or Education versions of Windows.

For more information, you may refer to this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualizatio...

Note: This also applies to Windows 11.

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard
