After switching from an NVIDIA graphics card, to an AMD card, i performed an uninstall of my graphics drivers so i wouldnt have any conflicting drivers. Apparently i also uninstalled the intel drivers, and my PC only sees the AMD driver. So now i cant even get into BIOS as the microsoft basic display adapter is what is used on startup for me to get into it. if i remove the CMOS battery, it seems to work, but as soon as windows is loaded in, i cant use the basic display adapter, which means i also cant re-install Intel graphics drivers.

Hello, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

What Intel drivers did you uninstall, and what do they have to do with a Microsoft Basic Display driver which is a placeholder driver residing in Windows/System 32 folder to drive adapters only until their own driver can be installed?

See if you can System Restore to a point before you did this, using the WinRE Repair Mode or bootable media which are booted completely independently of Windows and have their own drivers:

If System Restore won't work try to get into Safe Mode to install the Nvidia drivers for the card:

If nothing else works use the bootable media (which uses a different set of drivers) to do a Clean Install which should install the Nvidia drivers or at least the Microsoft Basic driver:

You can rescue files first from the Command Prompt in WinRE or Bootable media using this method: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the detailed results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.
