Hello Community,

Please help me to resolve an issue,

Under my User folder on C disk, I have the Default folder and ПК (PC) folder. PC folder was created when I installed Onedrive.

So, all files and more are duplicated in this PC folder and taking up space, like Desktop, and more importantly AppData folder.

I was trying to remove for example a Desktop folder, but it removing all my files everywhere.

How can I remove this ПК(PC) folder and have only one AppData, Downloads, and Desktop folders, within the Default folder?

Thank you for your time,

Roman

Hello Roman. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

What do you mean you "installed OneDrive" which comes preinstalled in Windows 11 and is part of it's initial setup when you install Windows 11 or set it up on a factory PC?

OneDrive folder should appear in each User's Account folder, not create it's own folder under Users. It is not a User, it is a shell User folder under each User's account.

Any folders that are then selected for OneDrive Backup are moved into the OneDrive folder under your User account:

    https://www.elevenforum.com/t/turn-on-or-off-on...

The PC folder looks like another User account that doesn't have a OneDrive folder for some reason. Did you create other Users on the PC?

Have these folders been modified in any way or moved?

Based on the answers you post back I may have other suggestions.

    Hello Greg,

    Thank you for your message,

Before windows 11, I had windows 10 and had a chance to use one drive for my personal discretion.

After, I had to use my laptop with one drive for the company matter, and probably then those folders were created.

These folders were not modified. I was trying to move everything into the Default folder, but I couldn't.

Thank you for your time, Greg,

    Roman

    Roman -

You can try everything here to fix OneDrive:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

It still looks strange in your Explorer that OneDrive created an account, are you sure that isn't your work account that was removed?

If it's still not working it may be due to account corruption. Test for account corruption by creating a new Local Admin account in Settings > Accounts > Family & Other People > Other, as shown here:

    https://www.isumsoft.com/windows-10/3-ways-to-c...

Sign into the new account, test if the problem persists, if not then move your files over,Move your files over via C:\Users.

Apps are installed to all Users so they should be no problem.

You can change the new account to your Microsoft account if desired in Settings > Accounts > Your Info > Sign in with a Microsoft Account Instead.

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5375-switch...

Then you'll have a new OneDrive user folder in the new account that you can sign into and set up fresh following https://www.windowscentral.com/how-get-started-...

Here is how to manage separately work and personal accounts:

Here is how to manage Onedrive for work and personal in the same account:

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the detailed results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.
