I started seeing it at the time when I began seeing the flag on Security Action recommended on my taskbar.

I’m not really sure what the box icon you refer to is, but it’s probably not related to this. Might be some soft of utility set to run on startup?

Hi Liza! This is Kenneth and thnks for answering my inquiry.

From what I researched that that particular Malware that you mention can be inserted as on boots up rthe computer and very difficult to find.

I thought it mentioned the DMA only protects after the computer has been booted and if I have that correct how is one to protect from malware at the bootibg stage.

Now I do not know if this is related however after I boot my computer, sign in and at the desktop for a about a second there is a white hand with a square box and pointing towards my folders. It is quite weird.

    Again thanks,

    Kenneth

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

It basically protects your device drivers against malicious software, so they can’t be re-written and cause harm to your PC.

It’s not really directly related to online purchase protection, but I suppose if there is malware on your PC it could be grabbing online purchase details so there is a small link.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
