I am facing some problems accessing my saved files PDF/WORD on my system since I have updated my windows to 11.

There is a box icon that is appearing on my saved files and when I am trying to open it, I am getting some error message that my files are damaged, and I don't know how but my folder icons are also changed. Please guide me on how I can solve this problem and what it means.

I am attaching some screenshots here.

Thank You.

Thanks for reaching out! My name is, Zadee. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.

I understand that you're having problems with your files after an upgrade.

It could be because your cloud storage needs some attention or troubleshooting. Are you using OneDrive on that computer?

I don't have that now, I thought it was because of the One drive so I uninstalled it from the control panel. Now, how can I install it back?

Make sure your OneDrive is running and that your account is logged in, Gary. You should see a blue cloud icon on the lower right bottom part of your screen (system tray), that's your indicator OD is running.

    Yes, I am using it.

Is it because of one drive?
