Windows keeps blue screening

Hi,

So after a game of rocket league, my pc suddenly froze, and it wasn't responding to any commands. So I had to force shutdown it and when it booted back up again I got this message from AMD driver software saying " driver timeout ".

After a few repeats of the same thing, my pc just kept blue screening upon sign-in with the reason being " thread stuck in device driver". It just keeps looping blue screens and I have had enough of it...

Please help... I can't get any more details as my pc can't go further than sign in...

EDIT: I booted into safe mode and disabled the video card using device manager, My PC is now working but I need that graphics card to be working, I'm worried that if I enable it again it'll instantly crash.

    Hi,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

Do you have brand made PC? If yes, please use graphic driver from PC manufacturer site. In try to clean GPU's cooling system.

If the problem persists, please share new memory dumps to OneDrive for analysis.

    Hey,

I opened DDU and uninstalled all my graphics drivers.

Then I went to amd's driver website and installed them, after installing, it requested me to do a restart. While on the "restarting" screen, i encountered another blue screen. This time saying " video memory management internal"Image

It's also stuck at 100 percent and still not restarting.

Edit : after force shutdown ing and restarting windows I came back to the home screen only to be met with the same thread stuck in device driver blue screen. Sometimes it also blue screens because of video memory management internal...

    Hi DevelSG,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Since the computer works fine without the installed graphics card, it means the issue is from the graphics card which is whether hardware or software related.

If the issue is software related, kindly uninstall the graphics card driver completely using the DDU free tool:

    https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-dr...

Then, install the latest driver provided on the manufacturer's website.

After that, run Command Prompt as administrator. Type this command and hit enter:

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Then, type this command and hit enter:

    sfc /scannow

If you are overclocking your PC, try running everything (CPU, GPU, system memory) at their stock speeds. See if the issue is still reproducible. Or, turn off XMP profile or set it to Auto.

Download then install the latest version of BIOS & Chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website.

If the issue still persists, remove the graphics card on the motherboard and reseat it carefully. If its warranty still applicable, you can return it to the store.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need further assistance.

    Stay safe
