Problems after installing windows 11

I don't see any colours in texts qnd other places since installing windows 11, this is an example in Wordle, no cases or lines either. I used all vowels deliberately and there's just no way not a single one of these letters shouldn't turn yellow or green. It's the same on Twitter, Opera and basically any site I access. I have no idea how to fix his. Thanks in advance for your help, Annemieke.

Hi there, I did resolve it, it was the high contrast mode and after searching for a while, I found a way to set it to None. Thank you so much for taking the time to try and help me, I really appreciate that. Kindest regards and have a wonderful weekend, Annemieke.

Good morning and thank you for your reply. I have exactly the same version as you have, I just checked. I have not tried anything else yet but what I did notice is that under settings > personalisation > colours it says 'some settings aren't available in high contrast mode'. For example 'Show accent colour on Start and taskbar' and 'Show accent colour on title bars and windows borders'. I noticed that yesterday but I don't know how to turn off high contrast mode. Is that a default setting ? Could it be this that's causing my problem ? Color manage takes me to a site on Bing, is that correct ? I added a picture of my bookmarks page, all the colours are gone from there as well. Thank you in advance for your answer, kind regards, Annemieke.

    Hello AnnemiekesArt,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version? Please check it (you can display it by pressing the Win key + R key, and entering "winver", then Enter), and only send the relevant information without PII (your username or mail address) in the next reply.

I installed Wordle from the Microsoft Store in the latest version of Windows 11 (Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.819)) and it works fine as shown in the image below.

You may C onfirm the system's color scheme in Color Management ( Win + Q to open the search box, type 'color manage' ), I recommend you use the system default scheme, and then execute "Calibrate display".

Then use the system default theme and colors.

Meanwhile, you may Perform a clean boot, this is a troubleshooting step to further confirm whether your current problem is a system issue or caused by third-party software, so please be patient.

Disclaimer*: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.*

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by-step so that it will help you get you back on track.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
