From admin Command Prompt run:

  • reg load HKLM\COMPONENTS c:\windows\system32\config\components

Then download manifests.reg and import it.

If that doesn't fix the issue, please repair your Windows 11 installation using these steps:

  • Download the Windows 11 ISO
  • Double-click the ISO to mount it to a drive letter.
  • Run Setup.exe and complete the repair process.

Your apps, settings, and data should be retained during the repair installation.

Caveat: If "Nothing" is the only available option during setup, it will clean install Windows. In that case, skip the setup process This issue rarely happens.

Thanks. Open an elevated command prompt and type the following command, and press Enter:

    • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

After DISM completes, please upload the fresh CBS logs.

    Hi Pranab,

The error 0x800f081f means source files couldn't be found. Please upload your CBS logs for analysis. Here's how to collect them:

    1. Open the folder "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS"
    2. Select all files, shift + right-click on the selection, click Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder.
    3. Click Yes when you see the following prompt:

Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here.

Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?

    1. Upload the zip file to your OneDrive/Dropbox and share the link here.
