Problem installing windows 10

I bought an evoo 11.6 ultra thin laptop with the amd chipset from Walmart. Windows 10 came on it, and I installed Linux mint on it because windows bogged it down. But Linux isn't compatible with the wifi chip in it so I now have no connectivity via wifi. I downloaded windows 10 via the official app on my windows gaming pc, and wrote it to a bootable usb drive. When booting from the drive, the bios (uefi) loads it, but as soon as the windows 10 splash displays and the spinning dots appear, it kills power to both the usb 3.0 port and the usb 2.0 port. It cannot go any further. What do I do? The internal drive on it is a 32GB SD/MMC drive.

Thank you for raising your concern in this community.

You mean if you using  internal drive install windows10 it will kills power to both the usb 3.0 port and the usb 2.0 port. I find that your laptop

may need a special way to install Windows Because it install S mode Windows originally and S mode Windows only be used by OEM. So i suggest]

you can ask your laptop's brand for futher help.

Thank you for the reply, however I believe you misunderstood me. Linux Mint is on the laptop, windows 10 is on the gaming desktop.

So I cannot try what you offered..

Thank you for raising your concern in this community.

Hello, after checking your laptop device, it comes with its own keyboard and touchpad, which may be of great help to us in solving your problem.

Your problem is that the USB driver files are not loaded properly in the newly installed Windows system, which is probably because Evoo does not pack the appropriate driver installation package in the motherboard, so that after the computer reinstallation will lose these drivers.

Firstly, try right-clicking on your system's Start menu with the touchpad (you may need to long press on the touchpad) and select Device Manager in the context menu.

After clicking on any of the items, select Action - Scan to detect hardware changes in the top menu, which may automatically fix this driver.

If this step does not work, then it is confirmed that the motherboard does not contain the matching driver, you may still need to go and contact Evoo technical support to get the motherboard chipset driver installation package, if you do not know how to contact Evoo, contacting Walmart customer service shall be your first choice.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
