Hello, I've seen whea-logger error come about when I'm stress testing the cpu and ram. I researched the error and found that the error is coming from the SSD from what it looks like. I wanted to check this from someone more skilled in this area. I posted pictures from the event viewer and what I see in my device manager to confirm if this is in fact the ssd causing the whea-logger error/warning. I have checked the motherboard page and it shows that it does not support the samsung 990 pro 2TB but my system has been running fine. But I have seen this warning come up during stress testing my components such as CPU and RAM, could there be a fault on the Motherboard or a component (cpu, ram, gpu)? I have posted the detail info page below if it helps in this situation. Thank you!

    Hi,

My name is Cindy. I am sorry you are having this problem. I know it is really frustrating. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

Please note: This is a user-to-user community forum. We are users just like you who help others. We are not employees of Microsoft, nor do we have access to your account information.

This usually suggests a hardware problem or it could be a driver that needs to be updated.

I have enclosed below how to run the Hardware troubleshooter.

Please press the Windows key + R Key

Paste the command below into the run box and press Enter:

    msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic

    ____

You will also want to check the drivers in the Device Manager to see if any have a Triangle or ! mark. This would indicate a problem with the driver. You would want to go to the OEM of the computer such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc, and download the most current driver. The downloads are free of charge. If you need assistance, their support can help you.

Please click on the Windows Key and the S key at the same time.

Type Device Manager in the search and open the page.

    Check for any driver problems.

if the computer is crashing, you can so you can do a minidump and upload it so we can review it.

Please go to this on your computer to find the Mini Dump.

    C:\Windows\Minidump

I have enclosed the directions below on how to send the minidump to me.
